天心（Tien Sum）- 玄玄雜談

bazi classical《淵海子平 yuan hai zi ping 》- 身弱論 body strong weak talk

In the bazi classical literature 《淵海子平 yuan hai zi ping 》，there is a article titled 《身弱論 body strong weak talk》 , briefly mentioned about ways to judge the daymaster 5-element for its body strong or weak, as well as its love and hate with other 5-elements. For example,

陽木無根，生於丑月；水多轉貴，金多則折。
Yang wood has no root when born in chou month (so weak wood). If the 4-pillars appear to have more water elements, it would turn out to be kind of noble or good fortune life (weak yang wood loves to be strengthen by the water feed). If it appears to have more metal elements, the weak wood would be broken by the strong metal (weak yang wood hates to meet strong metal).

乙木無根，生臨丑月；金多轉貴，火土則折。
Yin yi wood has no root when born in chou month (so weak wood). If the 4-pillars appear to have more metal elements, it would turn out to be kind of noble or good fortune life (weak yi wood as yin characteristic would follow the strong metal). If it appears to have more fire and earth elements, the weak yin wood would be broken by the strong dry earth.

玉照定真經 - ancient 4-pillars destiny reading, uss of yearmaster, nayin.

The original old version of this classical literature was said to be written by 郭璞, the greatest chinese fengshui grand master in the ancient Jin dynasty 晉代, provided with explanatory notes by 張顆。However, it was being revaluated in Ching Dynasty for the appropriate publishing period should be in between Tong and Song dynasty, and it was included in the Four Treasures of books collection 四庫全書 by the Ching Dynasty Empire。

This is a classixal literature for four pillars destiny reading mainly using, yin yang five elements, nayin method, i-ching eight trigrams, etc for the evaluation, and using the ancient state of Yearmaster instead of the later state of Daymaster.

Explanatory notes for this literature are commonly found by taking the method of Daymaster way for interpretion, however the original nature and usage of this literature were written for the spirit and essences of using Yearmaster way along with the nayin method at that time.

Recently, in 2015 the original old version of this literature was published into a book titled "四庫全書《玉照定真經》今注 " by a Hong Kong chinese metaphysics master 鄭智恆. Good about this book is, the original old explanatory written by 張顒 using the yearmaster and nayin methods, thereafter master 鄭 also provided his explanatory and comment using several relevant four pillars examples.

Those who are interested in studying the ancient four pillars destiny reading method, this book would be highly recommended for reading and collection.
